Hello there!
I'm Kendra Williams, and I have been doing henna since 2001. I fell in love with the art form when I had my first henna at a Renaissance Faire in California. I couldn't wait to get my hands on some "mud" and start doodling. When it comes to Henna, I am always learning, practicing and trying new patterns and designs.
Since 2009, I have attended over 10 Henna Conferences, to increase my learning. Some of my mentors include Neeta Sharma, Kiran Sahib, Victoria Welch, and Riffat Bahar. In 2014 and 2015, I was honored to be a teacher at HennaCon in California. I also co-hosted Windy City Mehndi Meet in 2011 with Bridget Wessell Punsalang of Aurora Mehndi and organized the Meet in 2012. I have continued to host the Windy City Mehndi Meet each year since. I also teach henna programs at schools and libraries around the greater Chicago area.
I have a studio space at Doll Revolution, in the Albany Park neighborhood of Chicago. I can take appointments there, or come to your home for a small travel fee.
